About this position

The Assistant Manager Technical Sales (Microbiology) is responsible for driving sales and market segment activities, managing the sales team, and developing strategies to achieve business objectives in the microbiology sector.

Responsibilities

• Report to Business Line Manager and join developing team strategy plan, sales action plan and set clear direction to sales team members
• Drive sales and market segment activities to ensure development of the business area potential, realizing the business area targets and effectively implementing the sales & marketing strategy of your team
• Monitor market trends and major competitors, establish understanding of marketing share and potential for company’s products, business opportunities and provide feedback to the team on product improvements
• Plan to ensure achievement of divisional target, aligning with Business Line/company sales policies and strategies
• Manage, develop, coach, control and motivate sales force to develop their skill to ensure that high professional standard is achieved and monthly sales target are met
• Support sales team to meet with customers or key account customers to discuss their evolving needs and to assess the quality of our company’s relationship with them
• Identify and evaluate market opportunities for growth, engaging cross Division to drive business development opportunities and enable them to expand share of the addressable market
• Collaborate with the Divisional teams to develop plans and go-to-market strategies that are in line with business objectives
• Develop and implement a key account strategy for working with other divisional managers to drive incremental growth through value proposition and workflow selling solutions
• Cultivate strategic partnerships. Help create winning proposals
• Find new key customers; Incubate products and solutions with early adopters
• Execute initiatives across high potential vertical markets
• Develop and drive messaging & tools that communicate the value/brand directly to customers through different go-to-market channels, including direct sales team, channels and marketing activities.
• Ensure accurate tracking and reporting of all business development activities
• Execute consistently on plan targets. Success linked to incremental revenue delivery over and above existing annual revenue targets.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Science or Engineering or related in field of chemistry, biology, microbiology, food science, biotechnology and related, except, computer, mathematics and statistic.
• 5-6 years of sales experience which includes a minimum of 3-4 years' experience in managerial position.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in sales & marketing of laboratories products, distribution partnership management, or other customer facing commercial roles
• Experience in dealing with government and private customer, KOLs, Projects
• Understanding of Scientific instrumentation products market in Thailand
• Having own vehicle with driving license.
