About this position
Support the development of engineering projects to complete the projects.
Responsibilities
General Responsibilities:
• Support superior in managing day-to-day operating expenditures against operating budgets to ensure efficient usage of resources
• Perform engineering projects including specification design, system design and software programming
• Perform technical inspections on a regular basis and correct any problems identified
• Prepare technical instructions for system set-up and installation activities
• Assist the site supervisor in providing services such as site measurement, preparation and technical drawings
• Support in identifying opportunities with existing contracts
• Assess technical challenges and risks related to engineering projects and suggest appropriate mitigation plans
• Keep track and report status on delivery schedule
• Keep track of inventory levels and issue purchase order instructions
• Monitor and co-ordinate with sub-contractors for builders’ work
• Liaise with government departments, internal and external parties
Requirements
Functional Skills And Knowledge:
• Demonstrate technical knowledge in scientific and medical instruments
• Demonstrate understanding of corporate risk and customs compliance
• Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
• Demonstrate fluency in local language and ideally in English, both written and spoken
Education:
• Degree in Engineering (Electronic/Electrical)
