About this position

The Assistant Finance Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing accounting activities for multiple locations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. The ideal candidate will have over 6 years of experience in accounting, strong expertise in financial management, and excellent English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise accounting functions for multiple locations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local and international standards.
• Perform month-end closing, ensures accuracy and timely preparation of financial statements under TFRS. Record + Review journal entries and account analysis for all balance sheet accounts, P&L including Balance sheet account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, sales reconciliation and revenue recognition
• Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities, including reconciliations and adjustments.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, including the resolution of discrepancies.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements.
• To monitor and ensure all taxes are prepared and submitted to the revenue department within timeline
• Prepare and keep record of withholding tax documents and payment vouchers
• Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff and other departments on accounting issues.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses.
• Coordinate and liaise with external auditors for annual audits and reviews.
• Analyze financial data and trends to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
• Maintain and enhance accounting systems and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• To perform other related duties as assigned
• Processing bi-weekly or monthly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
• Calculating and processing payments for overtime, bonuses, and other variable compensation.
• Maintaining accurate payroll records and employee data in the payroll system.
• Updating and verifying employee information, including tax withholding, direct deposit, and personal details.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is required.
• Over 6 years of experience in accounting.
• Strong expertise in financial management.
• Excellent English communication skills.
