Product Owner (E-Learning Platform)
About this position
The Product Owner for the E-Learning Platform will be responsible for leading marketing efforts, developing strategies, and managing freelance resources to ensure the product's success in the market.
Responsibilities
• Concept Development: Collaborate with freelance resources to extract and refine the key selling points, requiring strong business and marketing insight.
• Product Positioning: Lead efforts to make the product compelling with involvement from the initial concept through to the final execution.
• Marketing Material Creation: Develop key marketing materials such as copy, and creative concepts, by working with freelance resources.
• Strategy & Execution: Oversee the entire marketing strategy for the product class, from high-level strategy to hands-on execution plans.
• Content Review & Direction: Provide insightful feedback on marketing content, ensuring it aligns with both the product vision and marketing goals.
• Team & Project Oversight: Manage the overall marketing efforts for the product line, ensuring all campaigns meet their objectives.
• Freelancer Management: Work with freelance content creators, graphic designers, and videographers, managing a network of freelancers to ensure project delivery and quality.
Requirements
• Marketing Management Experience: Significant relevant experience (your actual role and capability are more important than the title). Should have hands-on experience and be able to work independently without the need for extensive guidance.
• Team Leadership & Ownership: Proven ability to lead teams, take full ownership of tasks, and manage projects from start to finish. Regular coordination with freelance teams or other internal and external stakeholders is required.
• Business Acumen: Must understand how marketing aligns with business.
• Product Development Experience: Experience helping turn around a product or working closely with product teams to develop marketing strategies that resonate with the target audience and lead to success in the market.
• Good understanding of user experience, product operation.
