About this position

Develops and ensures implementation of 12 - 24 month delivery and distribution plans for required equipment, materials and components. Works with operational, sales, marketing, finance and other stakeholders to understand anticipated demand and product-specific forecasting drivers. Ensures developed plans align with revenue forecasts, drive efficiencies and balance appropriately between fulfillment and replenishment needs.

Responsibilities

• Provides Demand & Distribution Planning for all FSL locations, Regional WH
• Has basic understanding and knows how to calculate safety stocks
• Ability to forecast demand for parts keeping lead time demand in consideration
• Works with suppliers in expediting purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of the correct products and to manage processes from an efficiency standpoint.
• Maintains records of delivery, distribution, utilization and other activities, preparing monthly and other periodic progress reports.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other team members and other departments
• Confirms documentation follows internal standards and business controls, meets management expectations and conforms to regulatory requirements.
• Supports departmental goals for expense management, high service levels and excess inventory reduction.

Requirements

• Diploma/ graduate or equivalent work experience required.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in Demand and Distribution Planning.
• Good business English skills (Written and spoken a must)
