SQE Engineer
About this position
The SQE Engineer will be responsible for part inspection, leading on supplier quality issues, monitoring supplier performance and continuous improvement, supplier qualification and product validation.
Responsibilities
• Plan and perform incoming inspection and issue the inspection result report.
• Plan and perform onsite inspection when required and issue the inspection result report.
• Identify and document any defects, deviations, or non-conformities found during inspections.
• Coordinate with external testing laboratory for raw material and product testing.
• Maintain accurate records of test/inspections, including test/inspection reports, logs, and documentation.
• Communicate inspection results to relevant stakeholders, including internal party and supplier.
• Issue NCR to supplier when found quality issue, identify root cause and corrective action with supplier.
• Collaborate with other departments to address supplier's quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Define solution/containment action of non-conformity part, disposition & communicate with internal and external parties.
• Review report from supplier of non-conformance part, verify effectiveness of improvement from supplier.
• Monitor supplier's quality performance (KPIs) & initiate and follow-up of improvement program to deliver a positive result.
• Improving quality performance of suppliers by providing feedback on quality issue found during incoming inspection and provide the technical assistance if any.
• Reduce the number of NCRs from in-process QC and prevent recurring issue which cause by supplier.
• Introduction of product specification & requirements to potential suppliers including, repeat communication with exiting suppliers.
• Perform potential supplier assessment to support sourcing strategy, by follow Dextra's supplier audit requirements.
• Define plan for exiting supplier audit, drive supplier improvement where needed.
• Perform production process & product qualification according to Dextra's standard and requirement.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or High Vocational's degree in any field
• 2 years experiences in quality control system or improvement tools, experience in factory
• Basic command of spoken and written English
• Computer skill (Microsoft office program)
• Fluent understanding of product's drawing and metal's specifications
