About this position

The Sales Support Executive is responsible for managing freight forwarding, vendor coordination, customer support, and documentation, while promoting the company's services and maintaining strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and negotiate the best outsourcing costs for import/export services, including air freight, sea freight, and cross-border logistics (e.g., Break Bulk, RORO, special containers such as flat racks, open tops, etc.).
• Plan and optimize the most efficient delivery routes and processes.
• Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth shipment arrangements.
• Manage bidding processes for inquiries from overseas agents.
• Liaise with liners, airlines, overseas agents, and other logistics service providers.
• Provide full support to the Sales Team by sourcing logistics solutions.
• Prepare and propose competitive quotations to the Sales Team.
• Follow up on customer inquiries and quotations to ensure timely responses.
• Maintain and update shipment reports.
• Promote the company’s services to potential clients and generate new business opportunities.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business.
• Update and maintain project references and project lists.
• Prepare all necessary sales documents for internal submission and client use.
• Manage and organize sales documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain and update the customer database and other relevant records.

Requirements

Qualification Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in any field.
• Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in freight forwarding.

• Expertise in customizing and managing documentation and dispatch processes.
