Sales Support Administrator
About this position
The Sales Support Administrator is responsible for managing freight forwarding, providing customer support, maintaining sales documentation, and fostering customer relationships to drive business growth.
Responsibilities
Freight Forwarding and Cost Management:
• Find and negotiate the best prices for import/export services (air freight, sea freight, and cross-border logistics).
• Plan the best delivery routes and processes.
• Handle bids from overseas agents.
Quotation and Customer Support:
• Prepare and give competitive quotes to the Sales Team.
• Follow up on customer questions and quotes to ensure timely responses.
• Keep shipment reports up to date.
Sales and Customer Relations:
• Promote the company’s services to potential clients and find new business opportunities.
• Maintain strong relationships with current customers to ensure repeat business.
Documentation and Record Management:
• Prepare all necessary sales documents for internal use and for clients.
• Organize and manage sales documents, ensuring they are accurate.
• Keep the customer database and records up to date.
Requirements
Qualification Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in any field.
• Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in freight forwarding.
Functional Competencies:
• Understanding of import/export services.
• Possess incoterms knowledge.
• Familiarity with shipping terms (e.g., Break Bulk, RORO, flat racks, open tops).
• Ability to prepare and manage competitive quotations.
