Finance Director
About this position
The Finance Director is responsible for overseeing all finance functions, ensuring compliance with financial standards, and providing strategic financial recommendations to support the company's growth and operational success.
Responsibilities
• Oversee all finance functions, including cash flow management, and implementation of robust internal controls.
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and financial standards, including timely preparation of financial statements and reporting packages.
• Coordinate and direct the budgeting and forecasting processes, collaborating with various departments to align financial planning with Dexon’s strategic goals.
• Analyze budget variances and provide detailed forecasts to assist upper management in decision-making.
• Review and analyze monthly financial reports, conducting variance analysis and reconciliations of balance sheet items and inter-company transactions.
• Lead comprehensive financial modelling and scenario analysis to support long-term strategic planning and growth initiatives.
• Act as the main liaison for auditors, financial advisors, internal auditors, regulatory bodies, and other external stakeholders.
• Provide financial guidance and support to various business units, promoting cross-functional collaboration to enhance financial processes and accountability.
• Supervise and mentor finance team members, encouraging continuous improvement in financial processes and the adoption of best practices.
• Foster a culture of transparency, accuracy, and efficiency within the finance and accounting teams.
• Conduct financial analysis to produce insightful forecasts and provide strategic recommendations to the executive leadership team.
• Collaborate with upper management on financial planning, investment decisions, and strategic initiatives that drive the company’s growth.
• Evaluate risks associated with financial strategies, investments, and market trends. Advise on risk mitigation tactics such as diversification, hedging, and liquidity management.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned by the CFO or executive leadership to support Dexon’s financial objectives and operational success.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. (CFA preferred).
• Minimum 5–10 years of experience in accounting, with at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Proficiency in financial modelling and analysis.
• Strong capability in preparing and analyzing financial reports.
• Ability to make strategic financial recommendations.
• Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
