Production Engineer (1 Year Contract)
About this position
The Production Engineer will lead and coordinate within the engineering organization and cross-functional teams to address technical issues, improve processes, and support production stability.
Responsibilities
• Lead and Coordinate within Engineering organization and cross functional team for technical related issue.
• Process & Yield improvement & optimization with using Six Sigma tools e.g. DOE or other statistical techniques.
• Prepare changes, additions and modifications which will facilitate manufacturing process.
• Create/maintain documentation (Process Flow FMEA, Control Plan & Work Instruction) to support production.
• Productivity Improvement
• Report to the Assistant Manager and work closely with product development / Production and Quality to ensure the stability on product & process.
• Support to set up and implement the standardization in the process.
• Support to improve the Jig/Fixture concept design and implement POKAYOKE.
• Support new line set up. Provide production data such as productivity, cycle time, investment cost.
• Support to provide the process time standard and process methodology to ensure the process stability and effective in process cost.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Production & Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 1-2 years of experience in Process Engineering/ Production Engineer.
• Having experience in Process Engineering/ Production Engineer in automotive parts will be advantage.
• Good command in English. (TOEIC score 400 up)
• Strong in Engineering mindset and hands-on.
• Knowledge in IATF 16949.
