About this position

Your main role is to ensure the quality of incoming parts by collaborating with suppliers and internal teams, while developing and approving necessary documentation.

Responsibilities

• Follow up, Review and approve PPAP and IMDS from suppliers for new parts.
• Develop suppliers to meet PPAP requirements.
• Follow up and develop suppliers to improve quality issue such as 8-D report.
• Perform supplier audit
• Communicate with IQC, QA, Engineering and Production on quality of incoming parts.
• Develop supplier quality to meet Delta requirements and satisfaction.
• Cooperate with Component Engineer on part approval.
• Prepare inspection method for receiving ( new material receiving )

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Supplier Quality Engineering and Electronics manufacturing.
• Good command in English communication.
• Experience and knowledge in Electronic Parts and PCB.
• A deep understanding of the new product development (NPI) process and ability to assist the development teams during production release with DFM facilitation, PFMEA and Process Control Plan confirmation. Hands-on experience in Measurement System Analysis (MSA) including Gage R&R and selection of appropriate measurement technique / instruments.
• Experience in supplier performance evaluation with both existing and potential new suppliers
• Strong auditing experience
• Competent in the use and implementation of Root Cause / Corrective Action using 8D approach, Lean Manufacturing techniques, 5 Whys, Pareto Analysis, Six Sigma, DFMEA, PFEMA, Kaizen, Poka-Yoke approaches for the identified problem
• Working knowledge of DFM and new product development processes.
• Experience in IATF 16949, ISO 9001, VDA6.3
