About this position

Your main role is to ensure the company conducts safety activities in compliance with Occupational Safety and Health laws and to promote a safe working environment.

Responsibilities

• Propose and ensure the company conducts safety activities in compliance with Occupational Safety and Health laws.
• Investigate and compile statistical reports along with recommendations regarding potential accident hazards.
• Collaborate with governmental agencies and regional authorities to fulfil reporting requirements.
• Drive the implementation and promotion of ISO 45001, ISO 14000 within the company.
• Maintain the ongoing execution of safety practices and activities, ensuring adherence to relevant safety legislation and company standards.
• Develop and deliver safety training for employees.
• Summary risk assessments of each department.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety or industrial Hygiene or related fields.
• At least 3 years of experience in industrial safety.
• Experience in writing reports and policies for health and safety.
• Proficient in MS. Office (Word, Excel, Power Point).
• Able to deal with emergency cases and incident.
• Knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and explain health and safety topics.
• Good command in English.
