R&D Test Engineer / Sr. Engineer - Automotive Business (Bangpoo)
About this position
Responsibilities
• Ensure the highest product design quality by execute comprehensive products validation testing
• Work on developing suitable test plans, test cases, test specification and frameworks to meet customer requirement
• Develop test scripts, test software, and test interface hardware aim for automation test
• Coordinating with design teams for testing related of each product development cycles
• Review the customer specification
• Develop test specification to meet customer specification
• Design and develop test scripts, and test software under standard platform and Vector’s platform
• Perform functional, performance, and regression testing of products
• Provide full function test report for the customer
• Identify, report and track the failure and issues via issue log
• Coordinate with PM for test schedule.
• Review the test results before submission to the customer
• Benchmark testing of automotive power train systems including bench functional integration, test execution, measuring and instrumentation, incident reporting and root cause analysis
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or higher of Engineering or equivalent of Electronics/Electrical/Mechatronics/Telecommunication/ Computer
• Good knowledge in electrical and electronics circuit
• Good knowledge in communication protocols like UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, Ethernet, and etc.
• 3-5 years of automotive product testing experience
• Experience programming (C/C++/C#/VB.net)
• Experience of CAN communication protocol and familiar with CANoe in Vector’s platform
• Scripting programming skill such as Shell script, Python.
• Familiar/good knowledge in measurement concept and instrument
• Good analytical skills, positive thinking, self-motivated, and team-player
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong leadership, problem solving
