About this position

This position is responsible for customer management, sub-contractor management for all shipment of Project and Industry Solution. Lead and support customer services team for smooth operation to achieve PIS department’s key performance and meet customer’s requirement.

Responsibilities

• Manage operation handling for freight, customs clearance and transportation for all project shipment via air, sea and truck (Import and Export)
• Liaise with customers to obtain necessary documents for individual shipment in order to complete shipment smoothly with comply to law and regulation.
• Follow up shipment with overseas Schenker branch for freight arrangement including update shipment status to customers.
• Carrier space reserve for export shipment (Air and Sea) by applying the best cost for best profit margin
• Manage all sub-contractor to handle project shipment in safety way and meet customer’s requirement.
• Issue invoice to internal and external customers including obtain all 3rd party receipt and all support documents for billing process including job closing and electronic filing.
• Reserve accrual cost / income for unfinished/unbilled shipment at month end.
• Support finance department to follow up payment with customer in case overdue payment.
• Work closely with colleague for permit/license, customs entry preparation, billing team and field site operation to ensure all task done completely
• Perform other duties as assigned by superior.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in freight forwarding business.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point)
• Analytical approach to problem solving skill.
• Good in time management and well organised.
• Able to work independent with less supervision.
