Officer, Customer Service (1 year contract)
About this position
Responsibilities
• Manage shipment follow up for CTEP, COTL, CPTL; PO up until shipment arrive at client designated location
• Track defined milestones, follow up, and rush as needed all open requisition and POs (Open PO and overdue PO) to achieve on-time delivery
• Participate in meetings with Chevron’s supplier and internal stakeholders as appropriate to ensure supplier adhere to PO requirement including notify stakeholders of any delays or concerns
• Take appropriate action within client and supplier to ensure timely delivery of required goods
• Advise most efficient mode of transportation to supplier freight forwarder or Client’s user
• Review total transportation cost of each mode (air, sea, truck) with DBS’s colleagues and inform Client’s user/buyer
• Liaise with customers to obtain necessary documents for individual shipment in order to complete shipment smoothly with comply to law and regulation
• Manage reports: bi-weekly PO acknowledgement report, (JDE), Weekly Open report, Overdue PO report, Ontime Delivery report
• Manage operation/handling for freight, customs clearance and transportation for all project shipment via air, sea and truck (Import and Export)
• Follow up shipment with overseas Schenker branch for freight arrangement including update shipment status to customers
• Internal and external billing within time frame according to company’s policy including job closing and electronic filing
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business Administration or related field
• Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience in freight forwarding business.
