Documentation Associate / Ocean Freight - Rama4 (Contract)
About this position
The Documentation Associate for Ocean Freight is responsible for managing ocean export documentation, ensuring compliance with operational procedures, and facilitating communication between stakeholders.
Responsibilities
• Ensure and manage ocean export documentation
• Ensure and manage relevant ACR (Advance Cargo Reporting) activities
• Supervise selected vendor facing communication and shipment related internal communication between DB Schenker stakeholders
• Ensure all operational and customer SOPs are properly followed
• Ensure all operational KPI's are achieved
• Ensure all customers documents are received, checked for completeness and content validated
• Ensure all shipping related documents are issued correctly and in a timely manner as per customer documents, operational country SOPs as well as carrier guidelines
• Ensure all relevant documents are archived (ODM)
• Ensure cargo insurance policies are followed when applicable
• Ensure communication to Customer Management, Gateway/Hub and network partner is performed in time
• Ensure ACR (Advance Cargo Reporting) is submitted and accepted as per ACR guidelines
• Ensure interaction with CY (Container Yard) and port and customs authorities is properly executed
• Ensure all activities in TMS (TANGO) are completed on time
• Ensure compliance with Customer specific KPI's - as applicable
• Ensure exceptional and accessorial income reserves and cost accruals are communicated to operations in a timely manner
Requirements
• Good knowledge for Microsoft word, Excel.
• Ability to lead and manage team
• Good command in written and spoken English
• Good personality, diligent and willing to work hard, self-responsibility.
• Perform well under pressure
• Ability to multi-task
• Decision-making and problem-solving skills
• At least 1 - 2 years of experience in Ocean Freight Field
