Assistant Manager, Global Real Estate
About this position
Based in Thailand, the Real Estate, Assistant manager will have portfolio accountability for Thailand, Laos and Myanmar comprising about 22 assets across the 3 countries.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
• Formulate country strategy for Thailand, Laos and Myanmar in alignment with Business priorities
• Location analysis and preparation of data and investment memoranda for management decisions across all 3 countries
• Maintain Landlord relationships across all 3 countries
• Manage rental projects, including negotiation of commercial and technical parameters
• Liaise with Landlord on RE-related site concerns
• Define and implement facility management budgets in line with business targets
• Drive RE initiatives to achieve Schenker’s sustainability targets
• Steer & coordinate construction projects, either as owner representative or as consultant of investors (built to suit)
• Responsible for data management of the real estate portfolio incl. set up of reports; Data Quality target >95%
Requirements

• Minimum 5 years relevant experience
• Expert knowledge of transaction & real estate management
• Project management skills
• Strategic development
• Risk management expertise
• Proficiency in English and Thai is a requirement.
