About this position
Responsibilities
• Develop and implement Sourcing Strategies for category: develop, present and implement strategy
• Being expert of local category: market analysis, spend analysis, internal needs, TCO, cost models.
• Responsible for the local Purchasing Budget, manage risks and opportunities to the budget and claims.
• Secure supply: risk analysis, dual sourcing, contingency planning, quality, service level.
• Initiate, lead and implement local Productivity Projects (Booster) and fill pipeline.
• Innovation: capture innovation from suppliers, contribute to and implement local innovation projects.
• Able to work cross-functional and cross-divisional improvement projects on responsible category
• Manage supplier selection and Contracting: develop Supplier selection action plan, lead and execute tenders and negotiations on price, terms & conditions.
• Negotiate, implement and deliver contracts, implementation, contract compliance, supplier performance, contract status and balance; resolve issues.
• Support in working capital in categories through payment terms, inventories, lead times, MOQ.
• Supplier relationship management: maintain and develop relationships with local suppliers and contribute to global relations including Partner for Growth Workshops, performance evaluation and feedback.
• Sourcing & supplier development strategy: Support and lead global and local Supplier Sourcing Development projects.
• Committed to respect specific rules to comply with the WHO Code of Breast Milk Substitutes and any related regulations applying locally.
Requirements
• Bachelor or Master Degree in Business Administration/International Business/Supply Chain or any related fields
• At least 2 years’ experience in Buyer/Purchasing
• Good Negotiation and Communication skills
• Good command of English
• Computer literacy, SAP background is advantage
• Able to relocate to work in Bangplee Industrial Estate, Samutprakarn
