TOOL ROOM SUPERVISOR
About this position
Responsibilities
• Managing Tool Room.
• Control the workers work in high efficiency and finish job on time follow priority of job.
• Ensure tool room process flow smooth without issue.
• Resolve problems related with tools on each working shift immediately.
• Specific and make purchasing requirements (MR) for tooling, expedite tooling delivery on time especially for urgent tools, provide also special tools for new jobs.
• Managing subordinate base on skill, daily requirement and appropriate manpower.
• Committed and conduct team to achieve target of Tool Room.
• Control budget of tooling.
• Control and monitor the proper function and condition of tool grinding & tool pre-setting machine, In case of machine malfunction/ breakdowns must be inform immediately Maintenance department and follow up until the machines are recover and finished repaired.
• In case of serious issue & problems must immediately contact direct Superintendent/Manager for support.
• Ensure working tools and equipment is properly take care, follow 5S system.
• Strictly follow safety rule of company and wearing the Personal Protecting Equipment (PPE) during work inside the workshop all times.
• Involve & participate of TPM and 5S project.
Requirements
• Bachelor degree in industrial, mechanical, metallurgical engineering or other related major.
• More than 5 years of experience in steel fabrication process, project control or erection work.
• Has experience in stock and tools management.
• Able to speak, read and write in English (Toeic or equivalent English test will be a plus).
