R&D Engineer (CAE)
About this position
Responsibilities
• Responsible to analyse the piping design by using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) in order to confirm the product feasibility and strength performance.
• Create the FEA base models and perform modal analysis & dynamic response analysis on piping design to meet the structural target.
• Provide the optimal piping design to achieve the strength target.
• Perform CFD to determine air flow and temperature distribution.
• Validate the base models accuracy by comparing with the actual testing result.
• Improve the FEA base models to accord with the several of products in order to reduce model build time & increase base models accuracy.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or any related field.
• Experience of 1-3 years in mechanical simulation such as Structures: Piping Stress, Transportation Vibration, Drop Impact, and Stacking. Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD): Airflow Pattern, AeroAcoustic.
• Welcome new graduated.
• Experience with Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) tools such as FEMAP, Simcenter 3D, Simcenter STAR CCM+, Ansys Workbench, Ansys Fluent, LS-DYNA, Altair HyperWorks, HyperMesh, etc.
• A basic understanding of Computer Aided Design (CAD) is sufficient such as NX, Solid Edge, Solid Works, etc.
• Experience in Air-Conditioners is an advantage.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Good command of English both written and spoken (TOEIC Score 550+).
• Good computer proficiency.
