EMC Test Engineer (R&D Division)
About this position
The EMC Test Engineer will be responsible for Electromagnetic Compatibility and Interference (EMC/EMI) testing support for air-conditioner products, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and managing laboratory operations.
Responsibilities
• Full responsibility for Electromagnetic Compatibility and Interference (EMC/EMI) testing support for both Emission and Immunity of Air-conditioner product
• Maintaining lab, Scheduling, Managing day-to-day lab test execution
• Monitor EMC qualification testing in a lab environment and in the field
• Communicate and interface regularly with internal R&D product team or compliance team on project progress and technical consultation
• Direct laboratory experience in EMC Trouble-shooting, both for pre-compliance and compliance testing according to both EMC emission and immunity standard testing are mandatory requirements.
• Full responsibility for Maintain in technical management of EMC lab ISO 17025 accreditation
• Must be able to effectively English communicate with international EMC laboratory, Global regulatory body and other stake holders about EMC product compliance
• Identifies and implements EMC lab efficiency and productivity improvements
Requirements
• Master's Degree of Engineering or Bachelor's degree of engineering with at least 10 years of experience in field EMC Testing or 5+ years EMC qualification and 5+ years managerial experience of EMC product development or Household appliance industry background highly desirable.
• Good knowledge in an ISO17025 Basic requirement and Internal Audit process
• Good Experience in an ISO/IEC 17025 EMC accredited laboratory
• Excellent knowledge of English language (spoken and written)
