About this position

The Warehouse Director is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to ensure operational efficiency within the warehouse, leading staff, and managing budgets while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement warehouse strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure operational efficiency.
• Lead and manage warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
• Manage warehouse budgets, cost control, and resource allocation.
• Implement and monitor KPIs to track warehouse performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Drive process improvements and the adoption of technology to enhance warehouse operations.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting on warehouse activities to senior management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• Proven experience (typically 8-10+ years) in warehouse management or logistics, with at least 3-5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics management.
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS)
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on optimizing processes and improving efficiency.
• Ability to manage budgets, control costs, and make strategic decisions.
• Knowledge of safety regulations, compliance standards, and industry best practices.
• Experience in managing large teams and complex operations.
