Instrument & Control Engineer
About this position
The Instrument & Control Engineer is responsible for the design, analysis, and implementation of control and safety systems, ensuring compliance with specifications and standards in various engineering projects.
Responsibilities
• Ability to do the Control and Safety System
• Can analyze specification for detailed designs
• Can review/check and comment on the Instrument Specification/datasheet
• Can perform the requisition / TBE / VDR of the control system and filed instrument devices
• Ability to conduct SQUAD Check of special documents
• Has experience for engineering, detail design work and site work at less 3000 MH.
• Instrument List and database (M/S Excel, Access, or IN tools program)
• Field Instrument Specification / Datasheet
• Review/comment on the sizing and calculation sheet of field and instrument safety devices
• Design all Instrument detail design drawings such as Instrument location plan, Hook-up drawing, Air piping & Tubing layout, Connection list and etc.
• Requisition / TBE and VDR work for Instrument devices (F/P/T/L,FGS, Final and Safety elements), Bulk Material and Control and Safety system.
• The MTO & QTO for construction work
• Has site experience for SAT, Inspection and test, Loop test and Function test, Pre-com and Commissioning will be first special consideration.
• 3D Modeling and Interference Check
Requirements
• Bachelor's or higher in Instrument Engineer.
• Minimum 3 years experience in I&C engineering design & Material purchase, Service, or other related fields in Offshore, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery and Power plant business including control system, Instrument specification, Instrument database and detail design work.
• Provide technical support to Lead Engineer and team member.
• Has site experience for SAT, Inspection and test, Loop test and Function test, Pre-com and Commissioning will be first special consideration.
• Review and comment Engineer document and drawing for Instrument and control system.
• Having knowledge of International standards such as NEC, IEC, IEEE, API, ANSI, and ASME.
• Having Computer program & IT skills such as M/S office, AutoCAD 2D, or 3D program. Capable of using the tools program / 3D model is preferred.
• Good command of spoken and written in English (TOEIC 500 up)
• Must be fluent in Thai language or Thai Only.
