About this position

Crown Food Packaging (Thailand) Public Limited is seeking a Purchasing Engineer to manage the strategic sourcing, purchasing, and management of goods and services essential to engineering and construction projects.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and Qualify Suppliers: Research and evaluate suppliers based on their ability to meet technical requirements, quality standards, and delivery timelines. Manage Forecast and ensure we have ordered enough material.
• Supplier Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable service and long-term partnerships.
• Supplier Performance Monitoring: Regularly assess supplier performance to ensure consistency in quality, on-time delivery, and compliance with contractual agreements.
• Price Negotiation: Negotiate terms, prices, and delivery schedules to achieve the best value without compromising quality.
• Contract Development: Draft and review contracts, specifying terms and conditions, delivery schedules, payment terms, and warranties.
• Risk Management in Contracts: Identify and mitigate risks by including clauses to protect the organization against potential supply disruptions or non-compliance.
• Align with Project Timelines: Work closely with project managers and engineering teams to align procurement activities with project schedules and milestonesSupport manufacturing by managing production output and delivering time-critical components to execute on master schedule respond to unanticipated changes in production schedule.
• Budget Tracking: Monitor procurement expenses and ensure costs remain within the project budget.
• Ethics and Compliance: Ensure suppliers adhere to ethical labor practices, fair trade principles, and any other relevant compliance requirements.

Requirements

Qualifications:
• Bachelor or above in Engineering or related fields.
• At least 7-10 years of experience work in the Procurement Manufacturing.
• Excellent ability to Manage time & resources to meet deadlines.
• Analytical and Problem-solving skills.
• Good team player and work well with all levels of employees and can work under pressure.
• Good in computer skills in computer literacy e.g MS.Excel, MS.PowerPoint, MS.Word and SAP(PP & MM module).
• Good command in communication skills in English.
