About this position

The Process Engineer is responsible for optimizing and improving manufacturing processes in production line, focusing on enhancing efficiency, product quality, and safety while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement process enhancements that improve productivity, reduce waste, and optimize material usage.
• Ensure continuous improvement in the performance of production equipment and manufacturing techniques.
• Provide technical support to production teams, troubleshooting process-related issues and ensuring minimal production downtime.
• Collaborate with maintenance and quality teams to ensure equipment and processes are operating efficiently and effectively.
• Collect, analyze, and report on process data to drive decision-making and process improvements.
• Use statistical analysis to predict and mitigate process failures or inefficiencies.
• Lead and participate in process improvement projects, from concept through to implementation, ensuring timely delivery of objectives.
• Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, and contractors to execute process modifications and upgrades.
• Work closely with the Quality team to ensure manufacturing processes meet the required quality standards.
• Monitor product quality throughout the production cycle and adjust processes as needed to maintain product specifications.
• Ensure all manufacturing processes adhere to safety regulations and environmental standards.
• Identify and mitigate risks in the production process to maintain a safe working environment.
• Lead and participate in safety audits and process hazard analyses.
• Analyze cost drivers within the process and implement cost-saving measures while maintaining product quality and safety.
• Monitor usage of materials, energy, and resources to minimize operational costs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in process engineering or related roles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis and process improvement methodologies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards in manufacturing.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
