Junior Automation Project Engineer (Data Visualizations)
About this position
The Junior Automation Project Engineer (Data Visualizations) is responsible for designing and developing software for automated machines, managing projects, and collaborating with stakeholders to enhance production efficiency.
Responsibilities
• Design and develop innovative software for the operation and control of automated machines supporting the production line; Realtime production dashboard, etc.
• Coordinate and manage automation projects, ensuring accountability for schedule, budget, project performance, and quality reporting.
• Lead the development and enhancement of manual fixtures to automation machines.
• Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders on investment projects.
• Take charge of improving, installing, and managing equipment, specifically in automation and instrument equipment, including PLC, DCS, HMI, and control systems.
• Conduct feasibility studies for automation projects, evaluating their utility in various situations.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation and communication, covering project cost, quality, timeline, and deliverables.
• Collaborate with other departments within the company to ensure that automated processes align with their requirements.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Automation, or Electrical Engineering.
• 0-4 years of experience in software creation, control systems, integrated automation, or electrical design and development.
• Knowledge of PLC, SCADA, SQL, or other programming languages is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to travel to up-country.
