Site Manager
About this position
The Site Manager is responsible for overseeing solar installation projects, ensuring quality, safety, and budget compliance while leading a team and maintaining effective communication with stakeholders.
Responsibilities
• Develop and execute project plans specific to solar installations, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables for solar energy initiatives.
• Lead and supervise on-site personnel, including solar installers, subcontractors, and construction teams.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment focused on solar project excellence.
• Ensure that solar construction activities meet quality standards and comply with relevant regulations and industry best practices.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any issues affecting the quality and efficiency of solar installations.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols specific to solar projects, creating a secure working environment.
• Conduct regular safety meetings and provide ongoing safety training for all solar project personnel.
• Monitor solar project expenses and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising the quality and performance of solar installations.
• Act as the primary point of contact between stakeholders and site personnel for solar initiatives.
• Provide regular updates on solar project progress, challenges, and solutions.
• Address and resolve issues specific to solar construction, such as equipment malfunctions, delays, and unforeseen challenges.
• Collaborate with relevant parties to find efficient and effective solutions to ensure the success of solar projects.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for solar projects, including plans, reports, and records.
• Ensure compliance with all contractual and legal requirements related to solar energy initiatives.
• Cultivate positive relationships with clients by addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction with the progress and performance of solar installations.
• Ensure safety is the priority at all work activities and strictly follow all HSSE requirement.
• Supervise and follow up to correct unsafe conditions and actions for safety in the work of employees as reported or as recommended by HSSE officer and/or HSSE committee.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in renewable energy, solar engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Site Manager in solar project management or related field.
• Strong knowledge of solar construction processes, photovoltaic systems, and safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with a passion for sustainable energy.
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities specific to solar projects.
• Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills related to solar energy initiatives.
• Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Good command in English.
