Data Governance Architect (Laksi - Onsite 80%)

The company seeks a Data Governance Architect to work onsite in Laksi, contributing to data governance strategies and implementations.
Responsibilities
Program Implementation & Support:
• Work closely with the other Data Governance Architect and stakeholders to translate the data governance strategy into actionable steps.
• Assist in the selection and configuration of data governance tools.
• Develop and document data governance policies, procedures, and workflows.
• Define and implement data quality standards and metrics.
• Train users on data governance policies and procedures, ensuring program adoption.
Data Ownership & Stewardship:
• Facilitate the establishment of data ownership models and assign data steward responsibilities.
• Collaborate with data stewards to define data quality expectations and ownership guidelines.
• Provide ongoing support and guidance to data stewards in their roles.
Data Management & Security:
• Assist in the implementation of data classification schemes to categorize data based on sensitivity.
• Work with IT teams to ensure data security and access controls are aligned with data governance principles.
• Identify and address potential data quality and security risks.
Change Management & Communication:
• Develop communication plans to raise awareness of data governance initiatives.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions to educate users on data governance policies and tools.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and address concerns throughout the implementation process.
• Monitor and report on the progress and effectiveness of the data governance program.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree preferred) in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics
• Overall 10 years++ of experience in IT field or data field
• With 2 - 5 years of experience as data governance or related fields
