Senior Quality Assurance Engineer
About this position
The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer will lead the implementation of problem-solving processes and systems within the organization, ensuring quality standards are met for new model projects.
Responsibilities
• Lead to implement the organization problem solving process and system.
• Organize and conduct quality status meeting of New model project product.
• Coordinate with production teams to ensure delivery of New model product in accordance with each change level.
• Initiate, coordinate and follow up New model defect root cause analysis, defect elimination.
• Implementation of corrective and preventive action together with production.
• Drive corrective actions and continuous improvement programs for New model project together with Production engineer.
• Regular quality tracking and update quality log based on defect information customer complaint and 8D for New model.
• Report performance of New model to Management team at appropriate interval.
• Assist customer services in warranty analysis and return sales from New model customer plant as required.
• Maintain drawing & specification that define the New model product & quality standards.
• Establish process document to execute and flawless launch APQP and PPAP.
• Implement, Develop, Maintain process flow, FMEA Control plan, WI and related documents.
• Perform reliability studies on all measuring/ testing equipment used in production process accordance with MSA.
• Maintain customer complaint log and facilitate and participated in the corrective action process.
• Co-ordinate and support customer visit/audit
Requirements
• Knowledge of quality systems.
• Strong Knowledge of IATF 16949 and VDA requirements.
• Strong knowledge of Core Tools (APQP, FMEA, PPAP, SPC and MSA).
• Knowledge of measurement system.
• Ability to work in a diverse and dynamic environment.

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering field.
• At least 5 years working experience as Quality Engineer in automotive industry.
• Experience in European automotive manufacturing industry is advantage.
• Solid background in IATF 16949, VDA and ISO 14001.
• IATF 16949 Lead Auditor / VDA 6.3 Process Audit Certification is advantage.
• Good command in English.
