QMS Supervisor

About this position

The QMS Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the effective implementation of the Quality Management System across the company, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and managing quality-related activities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee effective implementation of the Quality Management System throughout the company, including any business accreditations.
• Maintain the Quality Manuals and Quality Procedures and ensure contents are appropriate for business.
• Organize and manage the plant internal audit and the corrective action reporting system.
• Conduct Quality Systems/Process/Product audits and assist in training/guidance to other auditors.
• Host external Quality System audits.
• Provide training on Quality issues and business processes.
• Maintain the Standard Operating Procedure content and coordinate the issuing of these documents.
• Collate quality data for monitoring targets.
• Manage Document Control staff to ensure all quality management documents and records are controlled regarding relevant procedures.
• List the customer complaints, communicate with customers and create corrective actions.
• Assist with training of quality awareness.
• Report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in order to adhere to process and prevent occurrence of any non-conformity relating to product, process or system.
• Keep up with current and developing manufacturing and engineering trends that concern product quality.
• Responsible for measuring equipment calibration and MSA study.
• Attend various meetings and action/communicate instructions.
• Independently determine approach and assigned tasks.

Requirements

• Knowledge of quality systems.
• Strong Knowledge of IATF 16949 and VDA requirements.
• Strong knowledge of Cote Tools (APQP, FMEA, PPAP, SPC and MSA).
• Understanding of ISO14001 and Health and Safety Practices.
• Knowledge of measurement system.
• Ability to work in a diverse and dynamic environment.

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering field or other related field.
• At least 5 years working experience as QMS in automotive industry.
• Experience in European automotive manufacturing industry is advantage.
• Solid background in IATF 16949, VDA and ISO 14001.
• IATF 16949 Lead Auditor / VDA 6.3 Process Audit Certification is advantage.
• Good command in English.
