About this position

The IT Support position is a 3-month contract role focused on providing technical assistance and support to users, ensuring their hardware and software needs are met efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Set up new users with the appropriate hardware and software, anticipating their needs before their first scheduled workday.
• Maintain and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
• Coordinate communication between internal staff and external vendors or stakeholders.
• Oversee the receipt, dispatch, and tracking of computer equipment for repairs.
• Manage and maintain records related to IT maintenance and equipment.
• Analyze problems and provide effective solutions.
• Handle non-IT-related tasks as requested.

Requirements

• Minimum of a High Diploma or Bachelor’s degree (Information Technology or related fields preferred).
• 2-4 years of experience in IT support.
• Strong knowledge of hardware systems and equipment.
• Proficient in software and applications such as Windows OS and Microsoft 365.
• Familiarity with IT-related documentation and access control applications.
• Understanding of network systems.
• Knowledge of ISO documentation is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a willingness to learn.
• Passionate about support roles and routine tasks.
