Pricing Analyst
About this position
The Pricing Analyst is proactive in assisting the APAC Parts Pricing and Business Intelligence team in maintaining spare parts pricing and conducting pricing analysis to support business decisions.
Responsibilities
• Assistance in handling regular price enquiries from dealers
• Proactive competitor benchmarking on competitive product lines
• Monitoring and reviewing slower moving parts where pricing can be adjusted, and sales improved
• Consistently maintaining the database of previously completed pricing reviews
• Conducting ad-hoc pricing related analytics when required
Requirements
• A minimum of 1 year experience in similar role.
• Understanding of pricing structure and pricing economics, preferably in manufacturer-dealer or B2B business models.
• Affinity to numbers, ability to conduct price analysis
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills and ability
• Ability to work autonomously in a cross-functional team and multi-segment business environment, and readily adaptable to changing market, business, and organizational needs.
• Intermediate to high level of competency in PCs, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Intermediate Excel is a must.
• Tertiary qualifications in Business / Marketing / Economics preferable.
