APAC Communications Specialist
About this position
Responsibilities
• Develop and execute external communications strategy for Thailand/SEA that drives recognition amongst key business, financial and generalist media constituencies – including, but not limited to media outreach, events, conferences etc.
• Producing quality marketing communications material such as traditional and digital advertising campaigns, media releases, brochures, social media content, websites, bulletins and more
• Respecting brand identity and look and feel, in line with current standards and corporate and brand guidelines
• Ensure global/APAC Internal Communications initiatives are effectively rolled out/adapted for Thailand/SEA use.
• Develop and implement all Thailand/SEA Internal Communications initiatives, including the development of messaging and associated assets – including but not limited to audio-visual materials, newsletters etc. to ensure employee alignment with company goals and results.
• Support Global/APAC internal communications initiatives as required
• Collaborate with Thailand/SEA colleagues across the operating segments and central functions to develop news, stories and other activities/channels which stimulate employee engagement with core company messages and initiatives.
• Support Thailand/SEA employee events, including but not limited to Town Halls and Employee Engagement Activities.
• Liaising with a suite of agencies (including creative, digital, media, event management, public relations and print)
Requirements
• Degree in Marketing, Communications or similar
• 7+ years of solid experience in a marketing and/or communications role
• Outstanding written and verbal English skills with meticulous attention to detail
• take complex information and craft meaningful messages for various stakeholders
• Demonstrated knowledge of all aspects of marketing communications, including experience managing social and digital media
• Expert proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Basic proficiency in Excel, SharePoint, Adobe InDesign and Photoshop
• Experience or ability to quickly learn creative applications such as Canva and ClipChamp
• Skills in presenting to small and large groups, as well as on teleconferences and webinars
• Experience working across diverse professional, cultural and language backgrounds
• Experience in agriculture and/or machinery not essential but highly regarded
