CK Power Public Company Limited (CKP) – – a leading renewable energy producer in the region with one of the lowest carbon footprints, – is dedicated to achieving almost 100% renewable energy generation by 2024, utilizing sources like solar, hydro, and wind power. Presently, CKP invests in companies involved in electricity production and distribution across Thailand and Lao PDR, with a focus on 3 types of power plants; hydroelectric power plant (88%), solar power plant (1%), and cogeneration power plant (11%).The company will increase the proportion of renewables-based electricity from currently 89% to 95% or 4,800 megawatts , to support the global goal of attaining Net Zero Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions by 2050 through the advancement of clean energy technologies.

About this position

Overseeing the daily operations of the IT department, support and maintenance of the organization's SAP systems and other business applications, leading a team of IT professionals, implementing processes and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness, and ensuring that all IT services meet business needs and align with organizational goals.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high availability and reliability of IT systems.
• Ensure IT services meet the needs of the business.
• Oversee the IT service desk and support operations, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
• Develop, implement, and optimize IT operations processes and procedures.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and implement best practices to enhance efficiency.
• Manage IT projects, including planning, execution, and delivery.
• Coordinate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure projects align with business objectives.
• Develop and manage the IT operations budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of IT professionals.
• Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and support professional development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer science or related field
• At least 5 years of experience corporate IT management
• Good knowledge and understanding of application development life cycle
• Good knowledge and understanding of business analyses.
• Good communication, presentation, and leadership skills
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail
