About this position

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to create and execute comprehensive test strategies, ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products. You will be responsible for hands-on testing, both manual and automated, while also driving best practices in test automation

Responsibilities

Test Planning and Strategy:
- Execute comprehensive test strategies and plans in collaboration with stakeholders (software developers, product managers.)
- Define test objectives, criteria, and priorities based on software requirements and business goals.
- Ensure timely execution of test efforts.

Testing:
- Execute hands-on testing, including manual and automated testing, to verify software functionality, performance, and security.
- Conduct rigorous regression testing, exploratory testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Create accurate and comprehensive test cases and test scripts

Test Automation:
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks. This includes (but is not limited to) writing test scripts within code to ensure testing of functions within code
- Champion test automation best practices and contribute to the growth of automation coverage.
- Continuously improve the test automation infrastructure for efficiency and scalability.

Defect Management:
- Track defects and work with engineers to resolve them
- Communicate defects and testing progress to stakeholders.

Test Documentation:
- Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
- Ensure that testing documentation is up-to-date and accessible to the team.

Requirements

- Intermediate level of experience as a Software Test Engineer, Quality Control with a focus on automation.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Testify, Selenium).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- English language proficiency.
