PR/Activation Supervisor
About this position
The PR/Activation Supervisor is responsible for creating and executing strategic brand activation plans and supporting public relations strategies that align with the brand's objectives.
Responsibilities
• Create, lead and execute strategic activation plans, i.e. in-store experiences, pop-up events, internal events and community-based programs from start to finish, that resonate with department's and company's goals, as well as generate excitement and engagement around the brand.
• Collaborate and work closely with cross-functional teams including within marketing, operation, and buyer, etc. to ensure activation plans are integrated with the brand's larger marketing objectives.
• Monitor and measure the impact of activation campaigns, gathering insights to continuously improve future activations.
• Support comprehensive public relations strategies that align with brand’s business objectives, positioning, and key messaging.
• Identify media opportunities and develop story angles that drive brand awareness and support marketing campaigns.
• Work closely with PR agency to oversee PR planning and content creation, including press releases, feature articles, media pitches, and communication materials.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in public relations, brand activations, or marketing, ideally within the retail or supermarket industry.
• Strong strategic thinking with a proven ability to develop and execute long-term PR and activation campaigns.
• Creative, with the ability to craft compelling stories and innovative brand activations that captivate and engage target audiences.
• Great written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience managing large-scale activations and budgets, with a focus on delivering measurable results.
• Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across multiple teams and departments.
