About this position

The Overseas Purchasing (Chinese Speaking) position involves sourcing and managing suppliers from China, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness while maintaining strong vendor relationships.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing and evaluating suppliers from China based on price, quality, and reliability of products.
• Manage vendors that include negotiating prices, payment terms, quality, resolving issues, and ensuring on-time delivery.
• Finding opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
• Identify and evaluate new potential vendors and negotiate contracts as needed.
• Tracking of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency.
• Coordinate with shipping or freight forwarder for importing tasks.
• Creating and maintaining good relationships with vendors.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in any field
• At least 3 years experience in sourcing or procurement functions.
• Good communication in Chinese
• Good computer literacy.
• Negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Fast learning, service-minded, self-development and energetic.
