About this position
Responsibilities
• Department Oversight: Regularly review and analyze the workflows, processes, and outputs of various IT departments to ensure alignment with organizational objectives and industry best practices.
• Strategic Recommendation: Identify opportunities for process optimization, technology upgrades, and other improvements. Develop and present actionable recommendations to IT leadership and relevant stakeholders.
• Planning and Reporting: Create detailed plans and presentations that outline strategies for enhancing the IT department's performance, including timelines, milestones, and required resources.
• Collaboration and Support: Work closely with IT department heads and teams to understand challenges, gather feedback, and provide support in implementing strategic initiatives.
• Performance Monitoring: Establish and utilize key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of implemented strategies, making adjustments as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
• Research and Innovation: Stay informed about emerging IT trends, technologies, and methodologies that could benefit the organization. Advocate for innovative solutions that support strategic goals.
• Change Management: Assist in managing the change process associated with the implementation of new technologies, processes, or structures within the IT department.
• Stakeholder Communication: Ensure clear, consistent communication with stakeholders at all levels regarding IT strategy plans, progress, and impacts.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field is required. An advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL) is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of overall work experience in the IT field, with at least 3 years in IT team management or leadership roles, demonstrating successful team development and project execution.
• Demonstrated experience in IT strategy formulation, planning, and execution, with a proven track record of improving IT operations and processes.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex information, draw conclusions, and recommend practical solutions.
• Excellent planning, organizational, and project management skills.
• Effective communication and presentation skills, capable of articulating technical concepts to non-technical audiences and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across departments and lead through influence.
• In-depth knowledge of current IT trends and technologies, as well as best practices in IT management and strategic planning.
• Good in written and spoken English.
