Cybersecurity Specialist (Risk and Compliance)
About this position
Responsibilities
• Ensure the organization complies with applicable laws, regulations, standards, and policies by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the IT compliance program.
• Identify and manage compliance risks.
• Provide guidance to relevant personnel.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Experience in information security and compliance or data privacy is required.
• Have a knowledge and basic understanding of the different concepts of information security.
• Have basic knowledge of IT Infrastructure, IT Service, LAN, WAN, Wireless, Internet.
• Have basic knowledge of data manipulation, understanding basic SQL, and analyzing data through Microsoft Excel is required.
• Ability to communicate efficiently within a team environment.
• Good English level & Communication skill.
• Good Thai writing skill.
• Able to explain the purpose of cybersecurity, the benefits it brings to the company, and how cybersecurity will help the company manage business risks related to information security.
• Able to demonstrate an understanding of the benefits of cybersecurity.
• Able to list the steps involved in risk management methodology.
• Able to describe the cyber incident response process and support organization.
• Able to review and update team members' project reports and present to each business unit the findings of security assessments.
• Understand basic problem-solving, demonstrating an understanding of the principles of basic problem-solving.
• Can support others in the use of basic problem-solving techniques (Fishbone, 5 Why's) with the help from another person.
• Able to communicate to internal and external stakeholders about the cybersecurity solution.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with Cybersecurity teams, IT/Tech teams, Internal audit, Risk Department, Operations, Infrastructure and third-party providers & development teams.
• Good communication skills with demonstrated clarity in spoken and written words.
• Good influencing, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills with all levels of stakeholders.
• Drive for getting things done, deliver what is promised.
• Able to work effectively in a complex (matrix) environment.
