Rates FX Trading & Commodity (SVP)
About this position
The Rates FX Trading & Commodity (SVP) position involves developing and executing business plans, driving regional initiatives, overseeing P&L growth, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
• Develop and spearhead the execution of strategy and business plans to build Rates, FX trading & Commodity business.
• Drive and implements regional initiatives to enhance the performance of relationship management and Treasury Sales to maximize local and international opportunities.
• Identify key objectives, financial and other performance measures.
• Identify, allocates and organizes resource requirements, including people development requirements.
• Drive P&L growth for Rates, FX Trading & Commodity business.
• Oversee the development and implementation of Rates, FX Trading & Commodity communications and/or campaigns to ensure that they are implemented effectively to its targeted customers and that targets and budgets are achieved.
• Provide competitive price to Sales and clients whilst maintain the risk and reward.
• Provide competitive price to Interbank Counter Party through broker, phone or other dealing system.
• Provide market information to Treasury and CIMB group staff on daily basis.
• Role model and drive activities to encourage and build desired organizational culture, values and reputation in the Group markets and with all staff, customers and regulatory/official bodies.
• Any other responsibilities / task as assigned by management from time to time.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, CIMB policy & procedure, client mandates, guidelines market conventions, and the Department’s policy and procedure globally.
• Check bank’s foreign exchange position and ensure the bank’s position is within internal and external limits.
