CIMB Thai Bank Public Company Limited, previously known as Bank Thai Public Company Limited, was established in 1998 with the Financial Institutions Development Fund (FIDF) as the major shareholder. On 5 November 2008, CIMB Bank Berhad became the largest shareholder in Bank Thai and on 4 May 2009, the Bank completed the registration of its new name: "ธนาคาร ซีไอเอ็มบี ไทย จำกัด (มหาชน)" in Thai and "CIMB Thai Bank Public Company Limited" in English. This name change reflects the official transition of Bank Thai from being a single company to a member of CIMB Group.

About this position

The Application & Platform Management (SVP) will lead a team to design, develop, implement, test, and operate back-end applications, data, and cloud platforms to support business requirements.

Responsibilities

• To align with CIMB Enterprise Architect Standards & Group Technology roadmap for both application delivery, data strategy, and cloud technology adoption
• To manage team to deliver projects to meet business requirements, on-time, within budget
• To manage team to operate and support critical application to achieve high availability services as committed
• To manage department budget spending to meet target business goal
• To lead and manage application, data, platform delivery team
• To build up new skill resources to support business according to the designed technology roadmap
• To build up good teamwork and collaboration working culture between all related teams
• To ensure solutions to meet security and policy requirement/standards, using best-in-class solutions that align with regulator and best practices
• To operate day to day application & platform to meet regulatory compliance requirements as well as CIMB security policy
