About this position

Play a central role in the Sustainability function across CIMB Niaga, reporting to Sustainability Head. Assisting in the development and implementation of CIMB Niaga’s sustainability framework and strategy, to support the realization of Bank’s Sustainability vision and mission.

Responsibilities

• Formulate & propose the development and the implementation of Bank’s overall Sustainability Framework, strategy, and vision playing an influential role in Sustainability outcomes for the Bank and its key stakeholders
• Formulate the strategy to mitigate and maintain the level of sustainability risk that the Bank can accept
• Assist in developing or executing strategies to address sustainability related issues including portfolio strategy, energy or carbon use, waste management, and sustainability communication
• Evaluate & monitor the performance of Bank’s sustainability risk
• Ensure the compliance of Bank’s related sustainability policies to the latest regulations, trends and best practices
• Ensure the implementation of good governance in implementing sustainability

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree from a recognize University or Professional Qualification in the relevant discipline (preferably related to environmental and/ or sustainable development)
• At least 2 year working experience related to sustainability role
• Good appreciation of banking practices, products and latest Sustainable practices.
• Technical knowledge in Sustainable metrics, Sustainable reporting, and Sustainable related products that are currently in the market.
• Proficient in English writing and speaking
