SANITARY ENGINEER
About this position
The Sanitary Engineer will be responsible for designing sanitary systems, collaborating with clients and team members, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
Responsibilities
• Receiving and correctly interpreting the Project requirements from the Project Manager and the Client.
• Preparing design concepts for conceptual and final designs, checking against all requirements and obtaining approval.
• Coordinating with architects, other engineers and other disciplines to achieve integrated design.
• Scheduling all required design activities.
• Sanitary System Design: Assist the team leader and senior engineer in designing the sanitary system, which includes domestic and wastewater systems, fire protection systems, and LPG systems.
• User Requirement Specification (URS): Collaborate/ Clarification with clients to create URS.
• Design Calculations: Prepare design calculations to ensure all systems are correct and meet project budget.
• Draft Drawings Preparation: Create draft drawings for conceptual, permit, tender, and construction phases for the BIM modeler.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, regulations, and calculations, maintaining high quality and accuracy.
• Timely Delivery: Deliver designs within project deadlines, coordinating with the Lead Architect and other Lead Engineers to ensure proper implementation. Review architectural and engineering designs for alignment with your designs.
• Material Approval Review: Evaluate requests of material approval.
• Bill of Quantities (BOQ): Prepare blank of Quantities and material take off.
Requirements
• Minimum bachelor's degree in Environmental engineering or related disciplines from a recognized accredited university.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Strong command of English.
• Flexibility to travel.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in the design of Sanitary and Fire Fighting System.
