Project Secretary
About this position
The Project Secretary provides routine clerical assistance and supports the department with various administrative tasks, ensuring effective communication and document management.
Responsibilities
• Provides routine clerical assistance under supervision
• Files and retrieves documents, hard copies and electronic copies
• Knows sufficient English to understand assignments
• Knows the basis, commonly used technical terms used in the Dept.
• Reads and types English texts and documents
• Work with common computer office software, MS Word, MS Excel and Project.
• Has a working knowledge of inputting data in MS Project
• Types text, and insert figures in Power Point presentations
• Operates common office equipment like copiers, fax machine, etc
• Prepares and complies bound reports and other documents
• Writes, receives, and send E-mail, faxes, and other modes of communication
• Maintains logs of incoming and outgoing communications
• Knows and use the forms that are common and used in the Dept.
• Any other duties in the Dept. assigned by the Head of the Department
Requirements
• Bachelor Degree
• Good in English communication. (understandable non-complicated assignment)
• Good command of Microsoft office
• Good interpersonal skills -Energetic
• Able to do Document control.
