Calibration Engineer
About this position
Responsibilities
• Calibrate devices in Furnace, X-Ray Lab, FPI and Technical Lab and certify all tools, fixtures, gauges, instruments, controllers, meters, etc. per calibration schedule.
• Use various tools to inspect some product or some tool, which have issue such as warrantee part as assignment.
• Repair objects, i.e. tools, fixtures, gauges, instruments, controllers and meters as needed.
• Register the new fixture, gauges, and equipment into the system with issue the official calibration tag.
• Receive tools from process by follow the calibration system.
• Complete to update calibration system and re-print calibration tag after calibrated to make sure the equipment is in service condition.
• Remove equipment from system when it is in unserviceable condition with report to owner for further action.
• Contact with outside calibration-facilities for tools and equipment that is out of capability for calibration.
• Document service through reports and other paperwork. He prepares calibration certificates, data reports and other reports as assignments.
• Initiate calibration facilities improvement to extend calibration capabilities and meet with standard requirements.
• Contact with National proficiency testing centers for ISO 17025 equipment and calibration laboratory activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Team Leader.
Requirements
• 3 years of working experience in “Calibration Lab”
• Good command of English
• Interpersonal skills
• CMM knowledge and experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Tool, Electrical, Mechanical or Instrumental Engineering
