Chinese Translator (Contract Management)
About this position
The Chinese Translator (Contract Management) is responsible for managing project-related business contracts, subcontracting pricing, language communication, and document management, ensuring smooth project progress and accurate information transmission.
Responsibilities
• Responsible for project-related business contract management, including contract drafting, review, execution and maintenance.
• Coordinate the contract negotiation and signing process with customers, suppliers and partners.
• Participate in the subcontracting and pricing work of the project, maintain the subcontracting and pricing ledger, prepare subcontracting payment documents and continue to communicate with the financial department to understand the subcontracting payment status.
• Maintain close cooperation with subcontractors to resolve issues related to subcontracts and ensure smooth progress of the project.
• Complete tasks assigned by other leaders.
• Work closely with the project team to coordinate and communicate project progress, contract matters and other related matters.
• Responsible for oral and written translation between Chinese and Thai to ensure accurate information transmission.
• Maintain an archiving system for relevant contracts and subcontracting documents, and regularly update various ledgers to ensure the integrity and retrieval of documents.
• Write and submit project-related reports and provide necessary information and support to the project manager and business team.
Requirements
• Bachelor degree or above in engineering management, law or Chinese related majors.
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience in project contract management and subcontracting pricing.
• Have certain experience in contract negotiation and execution, and be familiar with contract regulations and standards for hydraulic projects.
• Have good analytical and judgment skills and be able to quickly respond to complex business situations.
• Work carefully and conscientiously, have patience and sense of responsibility, and be able to complete tasks on time and with high quality.
• Have strong communication, coordination and teamwork skills and be able to effectively solve problems.
• Proficient in using office software, including but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
• Able to adapt to different cultural working environments and understand and respect the business habits and regulations of China and Thailand.
• Fluent Chinese speaking and writing skills, able to accurately understand and process Chinese business documents.
