Chillchat is the gaming studio currently developing Tearfallen, an online action roguelite with fast-paced combat.

About this position

At Chillchat, we blend creativity and player obsession to create games that stand out. We are currently developing SOL Arena, a Web3 snake royale with real stakes PvP. As our Game Data Analyst, you'll drive how we understand and optimize the player experience through data.

Responsibilities

• Develop analytics frameworks that cover user behavior, retention, and engagement to evaluate player activity and game performance.
• Recommend and integrate analytics tools aligned with the user journey to capture daily, weekly, and monthly player insights.
• Design and validate event tracking in partnership with developers to ensure accurate data capture for gameplay and UI interactions.
• Analyze player behavior on metrics like session frequency, duration, progression trends, and drop-off points to guide game design and features.
• Create dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights for development, marketing, and product teams.
• Optimize the analytics setup through ongoing recommendations focused on engagement, retention, and monetization.

Requirements

• 3-5+ years of experience in game data analytics, with proven expertise in structuring, tracking, and analyzing metrics within online games.
• Proficient with game analytics and visualization tools such as Amplitude, Mixpanel, Google Analytics, and Looker.
• Skilled in SQL and data analysis using tools like Python or R to extract and interpret data effectively.
• Deep understanding of key game metrics, including DAU, MAU, retention rates, user progression, and in-game purchases.
• Strong problem-solving skills to identify user behavior trends, make performance improvement recommendations, and ensure data integrity across analytics platforms.
