CPF operates integrated agro-industrial and food business, including livestock and aquaculture such as swine, broiler, layer, duck, shrimp and fish. The businesses are categorized into 3 categories, namely Feed, Farm and Food. The Company also operates retail and foods outlets.

About this position

The Sales & Business Development Associate will focus on supply, customer, and consumer aspects to drive business growth and enhance supplier relationships while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with cross-functional sourcing teams to ensure alignment with the company's vision and mission.
• Identify potential suppliers and assess their capability to meet the company's needs through comprehensive market research and analysis.
• Collaborate with the sourcing team to negotiate favorable terms and ensure a consistent supply of high-quality products or services.
• Partner with internal teams to integrate supplier relationships with growth and sustainability strategies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers in collaboration with the cross-functional sales team to drive business growth.
• Work with the marketing team in the part of market research to identify potential clients and understand their needs, contributing to targeted sales strategies.
• Co-develop and implement sales strategies, client retention plans, and analyze customer data to refine marketing and sales approaches.
• Maintain and update client information in the database to provide actionable insights for the sales team.
• Assist the sales team in preparing customized business proposals, pitches, and presentations to effectively engage and win clients.
• Work with the marketing team to gain insights into consumer trends, preferences, and behaviors in target markets.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop strategies that align customer offerings with end-consumer needs and market demands.
• Work with cross-functional teams to create campaigns that resonate with consumers and enhance engagement.
• Provide insights and recommendations to improve product or service positioning to better meet consumer expectations.
• Collaborate with sourcing, sales, marketing, and other departments to implement cohesive growth strategies that benefit suppliers, customers, and consumers.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently while ensuring deadlines and quality standards are consistently met.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships to strengthen the company’s market position.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders across all levels, including suppliers, clients, and internal teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business management, marketing, or related field.
• 1 - 2 years' relevant work experience in business development or similar field preferred.
• Fluent in English and proficiency in Japanese or Chinese is preferable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
• Strong organization and project management skills.
• Friendly and personable demeanor.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant software.
