Procurement System Development Manager
About this position
Responsibilities
• Analyze and design the end-to-end procurement process, aiming for world-class standards.
• Adapt world-class procurement processes to align with decision-making perspectives related to suppliers, including supply management (e.g., inventory/warehouse optimization) and the decision to insource or outsource.
• Continuously update procurement processes and operating methods in response to rapid changes in internal and external Supply Chain environments, ensuring the organization maintains best practices and applies them appropriately for CPF and its partners to achieve the organization’s goals.
• Develop workflow processes by integrating appropriate technologies to enhance operational efficiency.
• Represent the department in coordinating various projects related to system development, working with other departments and business groups such as IT, legal, finance, and accounting.
• Design the system framework, create a timeline, gather requirements, understand the current process (As-is process), design the future process (To-be process), and define the scope of work thoroughly.
• Monitor and control the work of stakeholders involved in projects to ensure completion according to goals and timelines.
• Regularly report on performance and propose solutions if project success does not meet goals or timelines.
• Perform other tasks assigned by department management.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Supply Chain/Logistics, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant global procurement or purchasing experience.
• Strong understanding of Supply Chain, including strategic procurement & inventory management.
• Knowledge of Supplier Portal, Material Master systems/processes, and how these link to other systems like SAP/Oracle.
• Results-driven mindset with the ability to prioritize tasks, set goals, manage budgets, and plan project operations.
• Excellent project management skills with leadership capabilities.
• Proactive, innovative, business-minded, and possess excellent problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, able to work with various departments to gather information and resolve issues.
• Strong leadership abilities to manage team operations to achieve goals.
• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other MS Office tools.
• High ethical standards, honesty, fairness, attention to detail, ability to maintain confidentiality, and strong business acumen to uphold the organization's reputation.
