Head of Trade Marketing
About this position
Responsibilities
• Leading the strategic category roadmap & vision to achieve defined business objective across all brand/product categories with the goal of fostering category growth
• Accountable for the overall of category business performance (P&L) and portfolio across distribution channels and deliver sales and profits within agreed targets/budgets
• Lead team to identify sales, cost, profit opportunities across SKU's and categories through deep-dive analysis and research, including; assessment of product categories, competitive benchmarking, market insights, and extensive SKU's and category gap analysis
• Manage team to identify new product/category opportunities and space allocation in-store to support and align with business direction
• Manage team to oversee development of category assortment, promotional, pricing and distribution channel plans to ensure business achieve the financial targets on a weekly, monthly and annual basis
• Develop and strengthen strategic relationships with all key accounts (i.e. Wet market, Food service, and Modern trade) to accomplish category growth and long-term company objectives
• Create and execute an integrated 'Go to Market' plan in coordination with marketing and sales channel leaders to determine competitive position of products
• Collaborate with cross-functional functions (e.g., Marketing, Sales, Business Unit, Product, and R&D) to effectively activate ideas and opportunities for market expansion and generate strategy or change initiatives
• Monitor category and distribution channel performance using key metrics and reporting to business unit head and senior management
Requirements
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Finance
• At least 10 years of working experience in related field i.e. Category Management, Channel, Marketing Development, Trade Marketing in FMCG and Retail industries is a plus
• High analytical acumen with ability to drive and translate insights into relevant
• Excellent in excel, financial model and in depth analysis
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking and analytical skill
• Good command in English and communication skills
• Good communicator with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
